Scholarship Criteria

   

 

    1. Full-time student (12 hours or more)

    2. Major in Psychology, Sociology, or Rehabilitation Sciences

    3. Junior or Senior level student with 75 semester credit hours successfully completed

    4. Cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher

    5. Demonstrated financial need

    6. Submission of a letter of application that expresses need for the scholarship and career goals

    7. Successful completion of Psy/Soc 2053

 

 

 

Lyndsay Cochran, ATU senior Rehabilitation Science major, was introduced as the 2009-2010 Bob Adkison/ARVAC Addictions Research Scholar.

 

 

 

 

 

 Ms. Cochran is a senior rehabilitation science major at Arkansas Tech. Lyndsay is pictured with Mr. Bob Adkison.  Her scholarship projects include research, Project ReEntry kits for Freedom House, coordinating meth and other drugs awareness training for business/industry, and assessment of a health initiative grant proposal.
